The Agafay Desert is about 40 kilometres from Marrakech. Along the way, you will see how the landscape gradually changes to the vast semi-lunar expanse of the desert. It is a perfect environment for those who want to live outdoor adventures or enjoy a night under a starry sky.
Itinerary: Dinner and Ride of Agafay Desert
16:00: We will pick you up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech to start our excursion to the Agafay Desert. During the journey of about an hour, you can enjoy the colorful landscapes of Morocco.
When you arrive in the desert, you will embark on a promenade in dromedario at sunset for this stunning arid landscape. This walk will give you the opportunity to capture unforgettable moments while enjoying the breathtaking views and the tranquil atmosphere of the desert.
After the ride, we will head to our bivouac (camp), a cozy shelter lit by candles in a romantic atmosphere. Before dinner, if you wish, you can make yourself a natural henna tattoo as a memory of your experience.
Then we will sit down to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. The menu, made with fresh and seasonal products, will include delicious dishes such as salads, vegetable soups, tajines and couscous. During dinner, we will be accompanied by the live music gnawa style and a show belly dance.
After this magical evening, we will return to Marrakech and leave you at your hotel or riad (always accessible by car; if not, the driver will leave you at the nearest point).
