Our 2 Day Tour From Fez to the Merzouga Desert starts at 8am. We will pick you up in your accommodation in Fez and we will set course for Merzouga crossing the Middle Atlas, mountain range that extends 350 kilometres south-west to the north-west of the country. In our journey we will pass through villages such as Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland Marroquí” for the architecture of its houses, and Azrou, one of the most famous Berber cities in Morocco. We will cross the Valley and the Ziz gorges and in the afternoon we will arrive to the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) where we will head to the hostel to change if you want and climb to the loins of our drugstores that will be waiting for us to take a walk of approximately an hour discovering the immensity of the dunes, you will photograph the most unforgettable landscapes. We will arrive at the camp where we find our haimas in the middle of the desert. We will have a tea to the welcome mint and free time to relax and climb the dunes to contemplate the stunning sunset. Then, amenized dinner with live Berber music show with drums and haimas accommodation.
If you wake up early enough, this day will begin with an unforgettable image, the first rays of sun on the dunes. An unforgettable show you can't miss. After sunrise we will have a newly made Berber breakfast replenisher and after that, we will take the drugstores back to the vehicle to take direction to Fez. We will pass through Tafilalt, Rissani (origin of the Alauí dynasty and ancient capital of the Alauí sultans), Azrou and Ifrane. In the national park of Azrou we will stop in the forest of the native monkeys that freely inhabit this area, where you can observe them, photograph them and even feed them. In the afternoon we will arrive at Fez and we will transfer you to your hotel and end our service and our 2-Day excursion From Fez to the Merzouga Desert.
We offer two different camps. The standard rooms have common showers in the camp, while the upper rooms have private bathrooms in the haimas and showers in the camp. Haimas are double or, if you prefer, triple or family.
