Walk between the cloisters of the courtyard and the royal shields of the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. Admire the building sponsored by Queen Isabel of Castile to make it a real mausoleum, the most important construction made by the Catholic Kings. Right after the visit we'll head to Sta's synagogue. Mary the White. Originally built as a synagogue, it was expropriated and became a Church only 211 years after opening its doors. Today, it is a fantastic Mudejar style museum (Arabic) that you will visit. Admire the world-famous painting of the Greco -The Burial of the Count of Orgaz- in the Church of Sao Tome. Did you know that Greco himself lived in this beautiful city?
The walk will continue until you reach the Cathedral, considered one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in Spain. You'll see her outside before the guided tour ends. Then you will have free time to explore Toledo on your own before returning to Madrid.
